Great Gift!
I got this as a gift for my husband who is a huge golfer, and it was a great hit. Not only does he use it on the golf course but he also loves that he has a GPS for his car as well. This unit has so many features, the size is great to be portable and the price was great as I would have had to buy multiple devices to get what this one unit has.
Believe the hype!
I first read about the AG1 5 weeks ago when a buddy showed me an article. I have been finding more and more write ups regarding it’s launch and based upon the “experts”, couldn’t wait to get one! Well, it lives up to the hype! I’ve had mine now for a week and LOVE it! I took mine on a trip this past week. Movie on the plane… great resolution! Auto gps in the car… fast! Playing eighteen with customer… accurate! All effortless! Switching modes on this thing is truly a breeze!
Really Nice.
I have had my new Expresso GPS-Golf unit now for about 2 weeks. Thus far, the GPS peice of the device has worked perfect. What most stands out is the display itself(it looks like HDTV on a GPS)and the speed which is blazing fast. I also loaded up my nearby courses with ease. I only have a single round under my belt with the unit but, the unit perfromed as advertised. As a side note, the unit has the ability to play music, watch movies and comes with Zagat dining guide for the person who travels.
great find
I was wondering when someone would finally make a device like this. All the other Golf GPS’s out there don’t add up to the Expresso AG1. Not only does it store a ton of courses, up to 33,000 to be exact, its resolution is crystal clear. Another sweet feature is that it acts as my car gps and media player as well. I find myself leaving my mp3 player on its dock at home, and carrying with me my touchscreen AG1. But the icing on the cake was when I opened the box and found a car charger included, any other brand golf gps you have to buy that as an separate item.
All in all, I couldn’t be happier.
Does Everything for $250
I just upgraded my old Garmin Street pilot and purchased the Expresso AG1. This GPS does everything compared to the dinosaur Garmin that I paid $450 for years ago. This new GPS is so sleek and does everything and fits in my pocket. The Expresso has my local golf course imaged perfectly with the overview option. The detailed shot planning is awesome feature as well. For all of the capabilities that this can do is a steal for $250.
