Great product for the price
This is an excellent navigator, with all the necessary features. In the two months we have used it, which included two cross-country trips, it has performed flawlessly. If you are looking for a great navigator and you do not care about the hand-free phone options and other bling bling that really doesn’t help you get from point A to point B, then this is the navi for you
Garmin Nuvi 205
Biggest bang for the buck. This Nuvi 205 is awesome. Lots of features for the money. Nice display and plenty of fun. You won’t find a better deal for less than $90. Nicer than my older Nuvi 350. Buy it. Hands down.
Good quality for my money
I bought this as my wife’s Mother’s Day gift, and she’s been delighted with it. She uses it regularly to work around traffic in her commute. (We don’t get traffic reports, but now she’s now afraid to bail out on a clogged street because she knows the GPS will still get her where she’s going.) We used it to visit some friends over the weekend, and it worked well for us. It would be nice it the voice told you the name of the upcoming street to turn on–the visual map has it–but that can be a mixed blessing as well, when the street signs aren’t aligned as you expect, and confusion results.
All told, I’m kicking myself for not having bought one sooner. I didn’t realize the less expensive units worked so well.
Very nice GPS
I have been using this GPS for the last 2 years and it has met all my expectation. Recently bought one for my friend to..It picks up the signal within 1 minute after start. Directions are almost accurate. Overall a very good product from Garmin
Never search for your car again.
I carry the Nuvi 205 with me for use in relocating my parked S.U.V.
Some parking-lots are so large you can wander around for quite a while before locating your vehicle.
For on-the-road use I rely on my Nuvi 760. These G.P.S’s are really a big help.

Its my third gps, and i just love it
Easy to use, load south American maps as well as using the preloaded ones.
Good battery life, readings, etc etc

Great GPS, this is our family’s second Garmin GPS product. We will be in the market for a third one soon.

It may not have all of the bells and whistles of others, but it has what I needed and wanted, the price was great, and it is very easy to use! I love it!
My Garmin nuvi 205
It’s a nice unit and does the job for me. It is easy for my wife to use also.
Nothing but a brick now.
I had this product for a year. I recently went on Garmin’s website to download an update. Now the device says there are no maps available for routing. It’s the definition of a brick now. Totally useless. Even Garmin tech support couldn’t solve the problem.
They plant an IV in your arm with this one!
I got this item as a gift. I wanted to update the map so I went to the website. I connected it no problem and found a map update. The problem, they want $70 for it!!! That is just for a one time download too. The lifetime is $120! This is nuts the update should be free. Oh we will give you a product thats only good for less than a year, then you need to give us more money HA! HA! HA! Bloodsuckers!!!!!!!!
Much Better
I had an older Garmin that took a long time to sync to satellite which made it almost unusable.
The new version syncs much faster.

Great GPS
Great GPS, love that it shows the speed limit of the roads above your current speed. Can download for free the extra cars and other options, voice, etc. With the 2010 map (free upload) it is very accurate. Use it on my motorcycle as well. Works great!

Overall, it does it all
This GPS has served all of my needs to date. It seems to lag from time to time, but it gives excellent directions, and I never feel as though it’s taking me in a circle as some units seem to do. It is big enough to be seen with no trouble, but small enough so you can easily take it with you.

This is a very affordable GPS and we prefer this brand over the others. If you want the street name to be spoken, this would not be the model for you, but we have no problems since the distance before you turn is spoken and the street name is written on the screen.

This GPS is just right,I use it on the bike or in the car,you can even take it on a hike and it will work just as well.
