What a Great GPS!
I love this thing. I’m in a different city every 4 to 5 days, so I never know where I am. The 785T is a perfect traveling tool. It always gets me where I’m going. It’s much better than the Magellan that comes in many rental cars.
Mp3s loaded on a SD card, it plays through the FM radio if the car doesn’t have a auxiliary input,so there is not any trouble hearing it. (the onboard speaker is a little weak) Directions are clear and accurate. The onboard battery allows me to program it while I’m in the hotel room. I have not tried the traffic avoidance.
The refurbished price was right, and there is no distingushing it from a brand new unit.
The only slight negative so far is the QWERTY keyboard doesn’t seem to be as accurate as I’d like to be. Maybe it’s just fat fingers, but I make a lot of mistakes. I wish it would take a zipcode, instead of having to type in the City name.
Anyway, I recommend it.
