I’m very happy with my purchase. I haven’t fully got to program the unit, but with the manual there I’m sure I can figure it out. Yes, there are main categories with subcategories, but what doesn’t have the same set up these days. When you buy a new phone, there are icons for settings and then ring tones; it’s the same thing with this stereo.
The install was fast and easy as my previous stereo was also a Kenwood. I like the fact there are so many options at my disposal to listen to my favorite music while driving. I can listen to my ipod, throw a thumb drive in with a bunch of music or listen to an MP3 disc. I’m able to accept calls through my stereo; if I choose, with the blue tooth feature.
The price is the last thing i will mention. I shopped around at different sites and chose this model for the price and loyalty I’ve had with amazon.com. I know that if there was something wrong with the order, they would do everything they could to make the situation right.
Does not work reliably with iPhone 3GS!
I get a USB Error every hour or so and was told by Kenwood to reset the radio (lose all settings!) and then reset the IPhone. This is not a fix! They are trying to blame the problems on the Iphone iSO4 update but this also happens with my work phone that has not been updated.
Fix the problem Kenwood.

Just purchased the Kenwood KDC-BT645U. I’ve had a Kenwood in my previous car so i wanted to stick with this name brand because of its reputation. This is the first time I’ve had integrated bluetooth and it works great. Tuner=Good. I was most suprised on how easy and fast the ipod connection was. Best thing about it is the usb conenction that keeps the ipod charged. Overall great unit.
